Adolescence is the phase of life in which everything seems up for grabs. Young adulthood discovers new friendships, try out new interests, and develop new beliefs about everything from family to faith. For most, it’s perfectly natural to gravitate toward a new passion one day but then drop a lifelong interest almost overnight.
Our message to teens of our assembly is to display Christian love through one’s conviction in the faith and seek to be engaged in youth groups that will impact changes in the community and the world. Although, there seems to be a disparage that sends many young people from out of the church; having a personal relationship with God is one of the best experiences ever know as was the case with Bible characters, such as a Joshua, Samuel and David. Paul wrote to Timothy about how as a child, even from an infant, Timothy had been instructed in the Word by his mother (2 Timothy 2:5). We at Echad Temple Oneness Church takes the initiative to develop focused type Bible study, outreach, missions, and other Christian concepts to help foster relationships between our saints and allow them to invite non-Christian friends to activities that are less-threatening to teens that are wary of organized religion.
